The Commission for Energy and Gas Regulation (CREG) has been unable to convene or make decisions since October 5 due to a lack of quorum. This hiatus comes at a critical juncture, as urgent measures are needed to address the financial crisis facing several electricity retailers and to tackle the El Niño phenomenon.
