Ecuador's Acting Minister of Energy and Mines, Roberto Luque, announced the suspension of an electrical interconnection between Ecuador and Colombia amid the halt of exports of this nature between the two countries. This interruption in electrical exchange was justified by the low levels of reservoirs in both Colombia and Ecuador. However, service was recently reestablished.
