Despite boasting some of the most favorable natural conditions in the world for renewable energy, wind speeds in La Guajira are double the global average and solar radiation is 66% higher than the world norm, developing unconventional renewable energy (NCRE) projects in Colombia has become increasingly frustrating for companies.
