Colombia's electric vehicle market grew 171.3% in the first quarter of 2026, with more than 9,000 new registrations between January and March, according to figures from the ANDI and Fenalco. Against that backdrop, the energy regulator CREG convened a multi-ministry coordination roundtable to begin developing a coherent regulatory and technical roadmap for electric mobility's integration into the national energy system.
