Colombia's government reached an agreement with Enel Colombia and AES Colombia to reschedule major maintenance at two of the country's largest hydroelectric plants -- El Guavio and Chivor II -- so the work doesn't overlap during the peak-demand months of the 2026-2027 El Niño.
