In Colombia, there are 11 registered offshore wind generation projects, all in phase 1, with a capacity of a little over 5GW, according to data from the Mining and Energy Planning Unit (UPME). However, the government's recent announcement of consultation drafts for the allocation of temporary occupation areas has raised doubts and concerns among investors and experts.
