Colombia's Ministry of Mines and Energy has launched a national call for technical cooperation project proposals under its partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), targeting the 2028–2029 cooperation cycle. The announcement, dated March 11, 2026, builds on two decades of joint work through which nuclear techniques have been applied to radiological safety, cancer treatment, agricultural productivity, and environmental monitoring.
