Enel-Codensa announced its financial results for the first half of the year.
The company reported an 8.1% increase in operating revenues to CoP$3T in 1H21; this was CoP$2.8T in 1H20, La Republica reported.
The firm said that this positive performance was due to the recovery of energy demand in this period, coupled with a higher margin in the billing of cleaning services due to the entry of two new operators, Servigenerales in Facatativá (Cundinamarca) and Ciudad Limpia (Bogota).
EBITDA increased 7.3% to CoP$1T, while it was CoP$950B in the same period last year.
Net income went from CoP$432B in 1H20 to CoP$481B in 1H21, representing an increase of 11.4% compared to same period last year.
Enel-Codensa reported investments of CoP$489B during this period, while this figure was CoP$393B in the same period last year, representing a 24.3% increase.
