ETB joined the “30% Club”, a global initiative aimed at closing gender gaps.
The main goal of the “30% Club” is to achieve that percentage of female representation on Boards of Directors and Executive positions worldwide, Portafolio reported.
“ETB is committed to closing gender gaps and adheres to this initiative to drive greater participation of women in leadership positions, due to their positive impact on the competitiveness of companies and society,” ETB’s Sergio González Guzmán said.
Thirty percent of ETB’s Board of Directors is made up of women leaders such as Sylvia Escovar and Carolina Durán.
In addition, ETB’s Steering Committee has 60% participation of women, in charge of leading legal issues, Audit, Human Talent, Digital Transformation, Experience, Corporate Affairs and Strategy. This is in addition to the fact that 37 % of middle management is also led by women.
“Women represent a significant percentage of participation within the organization, they have equal access to leadership positions and equal pay according to their ranks without distinction of gender,” Paula Guerra, Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Strategy at ETB, said.
The expert said that ETB leads actions aimed at materializing the corporate vision to promote equality and equity.
“This through the closing of the digital divide, since connectivity allows women to access more opportunities for information, knowledge, work and education, among other aspects that contribute to their well-being and quality of life,” Guerra said.
