Grupo Energia Bogota (GEB) announced an acquisition in Brazil.
The company reported that, through the Brazilian company Argo Energia Empreendimentos e Participações, in which it has a 50% shareholding, it closed a share purchase agreement with Rialma Administração e Participações S.A., to acquire the entire share capital of Rialma Transmissora de Energia III, La Republica reported.
The closing of this transaction is subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent and approval by the regulatory authorities in Brazil, including the National Electric Energy Agency and the Administrative Council of Economic Defense (CADE).
GEB’s Juan Ricardo Ortega said that this investment contributes to the fulfillment of the company’s Corporate Strategic Plan, in one of the most attractive markets for the electric power transmission sector, Brazil.
