The Colombian government, through the Ministry of Mines and Energy, presented a draft decree modifying Decree 1073 of 2015 to adopt public policy measures promoting natural gas supply and enabling development and integration of biogas and biomethane as complementary energy sources. The initiative advances President Gustavo Petro's Just Energy Transition agenda.
