My mother has lived in Napanee Ontario for the past 48 years. One of my sisters lives there too now and a couple of time a year I go for a visit. Standing on my sister’s balcony and watching the Napanee River flow out to the Bay of Quinte and eventually Lake Ontario, I felt a glimmer of hope for the Earth’s environmental challenges.
