Hydroelectric deal could ease Venezuela’s chronic blackouts

Argentine energy company Impsa is in advanced negotiations with Venezuelan state utility Corpoelec to revive a long-stalled hydroelectric contract that could add up to 672 MWp of generating capacity to Venezuela's chronically underpowered grid.
