I am not a certified engineer but I’ve worked in communications networks for nearly half-a century. A PE-investor once told me that engineers who work in electrical networks have no respect for communications engineers because of the difference in voltage. Grab the wrong wire under the wrong circumstances and you will die. We now have (multiple) analyses of the great Iberian blackout at the end of April. There are lessons to be learned from them.
