ISA 3Q21 results

ISA S.A. E.S.P (BVC: ISA) reported its third quarter 2021 results.

The firm’s operating income was CoP$2.9T in 3Q21, 7% more compared to same period last year (CoP$2.6T). This metric was CoP$2.8T in 2Q21.

Income in the energy business was CoP$2.3T in 3Q21, representing 80% of the total.

The Highway business represented 16% or CoP$462B, while Telecommunications reported revenues of CoP$105B or 4% of the total in 3Q21.

ISA said that administration, operation, and maintenance costs was CoP$513.9B in 3Q21, 17.7% more than in the same period of the previous year.

EBITDA was CoP$1.9T in 3Q21; 5.8% more compared to same period last year. EBITDA margin was 65.2% in 3Q21.

ISA reported a net income of CoP$121.3B, 78.6% less than 3Q20.

“The variation is mainly due to the effect of the change in the income tax rate that generated a higher deferred tax and the recording in income of the costs associated with the reprofiling of ISA InterChile’s debt,” ISA explained.
