ISA is developing immunization campaigns in 13 municipalities of Antioquia.

The firm is developing this campaign through the Mobile Vaccination Rooms in distant territories, according to a press release.

“The strategy is the result of an alliance between ISA and the One Health Genomic Laboratory of the National University of Colombia,” the company said.

This, added to joint work with the government of Antioquia, the Mayors of the department and the Health Secretariats, has maximized the mitigation of the pandemic and promoted economic reactivation.

“The main goal of the Mobile Rooms is to reduce immunization gaps by solving the difficulties of access to vaccines,” ISA added.

The company developed vaccination brigades to territories that are difficult to access by helicopter, starting with three indigenous and Afro-descendant communities in Urrao: Valle de Pérdidas, Mandé and Puntas de Ocaidó.

“The teams that visited the territory for five days were made up of a vaccinator and two logistical companions, who brought food and medicines for the communities,” ISA explained. .

Maria Adelaida Correa, Corporate Director of Sustainability at ISA, said that it is positive to see the high level of attendance in these campaigns.

“We want to reiterate the invitation to those who have not been vaccinated in the municipalities of Abejorral, Ciudad Bolívar, Salgar, Santa Bárbara, Carepa, Chigorodó and Apartadó to be attentive to the visit of the Mobile Rooms in the coming days,” Correa added.
