ISA and the entrepreneurship accelerator Rockstart announced a partnership to create the ‘Creating Impact Connections’ program.
This initiative seeks to support startups that effectively contribute to improving environmental sustainability, solve problems in vulnerable communities or, in general, address challenges related to the Sustainable Development Goals, La Republica reported.
“We are looking for startups with a great founding team, a well-built product and early traction to create high-impact solutions. We are interested in those that are creating the future, using new and promising technologies,” Felipe Santamaría, Co-founder of Rockstart, said.
With this program, up to 10 ventures will be able to receive mentoring, access to relationships with investors, capital rounds and strategies to improve business models for products and services.
This will be open to countries throughout Latin America and will consider multiple variables such as the profile of the team, that the product is unique, innovative, scalable, and generates impact, that it is a proven initiative, and that it solves a societal problem such as climate change mitigation, innovation in food supply chains, and elimination of waste, among others.
