Four electric buses from the Masivo de Occidente (MDO) company started commercial operations in the city of Medellín. Here are the details.
With investments of CoP$9B, the vehicles are part of MDO’s strategy to integrate 12 electric buses into its fleet in the coming months.
The new vehicles will add to the 108 gas vehicles that the company currently operates, La Republica said.
“This project, which started three years ago, is part of our innovation strategy. It was drawn up and executed by company personnel from scratch, with the help of Chinese manufacturer Zhong Thong Bus,” MDO’s Fernando Montoya said.
Bottom-line: We like to report on the corporate profile of companies that are helping change the Colombian energy industry.
