New Vice Presidents at EPM

EPM’s Board of Directors announced the appointment of two new Vice Presidents.

The new directors who come to occupy the positions of Vice Presidents in the areas of ‘Human Talent and Organizational Development’ and ‘Legal Affairs of the Organization’ are Juliana Carolina Zapata Molina and Jhonatan Estiven Villada Palacio, respectively, La Republica reported.

“From now on, EPM counts on the commitment and professional practice of these new officials and we are sure that their contributions will be of much value in the corporate purpose of contributing to the transformation of people’s lives,” EPM said.

Juliana Carolina Zapata Molina is a civil engineer from the Universidad Javeriana with an MBA from the Instituto de Educación Superior- IE University of Spain.

She has 16 years of experience in strategic leadership, knowledge management and human talent development and labor relations processes.

Zapata worked as Manager of planning and knowledge management at the National Association of Public Utilities and Communications Companies (Andesco) and Manager of corporate human resources and BSO at Cemex Colombia.

Jhonatan Estiven Villada Palacio is a lawyer from the Universidad de Medellín with specializations in labor and social security law from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, and holds a master’s degree in State Contracting from the Universidad de Medellín.

He has worked as office secretary and technical director in the Mayor’s Office of Medellín, in the Medellín City Hall as legal director and delegate ombudsman for the surveillance of social conduct.

In addition, he has teaching experience at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Law of the University of Medellin, and at the Faculty of International Business of the University of Santo Tomas.
