Air-e together with the Ministry of Energy (MinEnergia) inaugurated the optimization of electrical networks in Barranquilla.
CEO Felipe Ríos delivered electrical networks to the community to optimize the energy service of 1,557 families in the neighborhood of La Unión, Barranquilla, La Republica reported.
The works, with Conpes resources, represented investments of CoP$3.1B and were developed by the contractor EEP-CREC LINCI in the sector from Carrera 11 to Carrera 17, between streets 39 and 31.
“The main goal as a company is to make our customers’ lives better every day. With these works, we are achieving important advances in the quality of energy service in the city,” Ríos said.
The project included the installation of 204 poles, 54 transformers, 5.7 kilometers of medium-voltage networks and 8.4 kilometers of low-voltage networks.
Bottom-Line: Air-e’s efforts are beginning to bear fruit quickly in the Caribbean region. The company has only been operating in the region for a short time, but investments are bringing positive results to the communities.
