The Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC) will participate in a new edition of ‘Colombia Insideout’ promoting sustainable investments.
The BVC will seek to encourage foreign investment in social, environmental and sustainable projects in which Colombian companies participate, La Republica reported.
Procolombia will organize a digital event for the investing public based in London, with the presence of British and European investors, and companies listed on the BVC.
BVC’s Juan Pablo Córdoba, Bancóldex’s Javier Díaz, and Juan Alfaro, deputy Superintendent of capital markets will participate in this event.
“This is a great opportunity to show how the BVC is working to boost investments. It also provides first-hand knowledge of the opportunities for investors to contribute to these projects and to economic reactivation based on common goals,” Córdoba highlighted.
Bottom-Line: A solid regulatory framework, less social conflict and more security will be fundamental to attract the interest of foreign investors to the country.
